My Homework

My parents always tell me that the first thing that I should do when I get home is my homework. The first thing I do is watch TV. They always call to ask how I doing and if I'm doing homework. Since they call most of the time I've learned from my mistakes and I almost never pick up the phone. When I do pick up the phone I ask them when are they coming so I can calculate how much time I have left watching TV and eating.

Sometimes they arrive early and catch me watching TV. The first thing they ask is, "Did you do your homework?" I have no other option than telling them that I already did it. For example, on Friday my dad told me that I had to do my homework so when I came back from fishing I could be ready for Monday. When he left I just watched football the whole day until he came back. On Sunday I wanted to get home fast to finish it and not get a bad grade,but sadly, my mom said that she wanted to go to eat at a restaurant. NO!!!!!!! I thought. My plan was ruined, now I couldn't do my homework while my dad watched TV.

When we were in the restaurant he asked me if I had finished all the homework. If I said no he would have punished me. I couldn't say yes because when I got home I would have to do it and he would know that I lied. So I said that I wanted to fix one thing. He said OK. When we got home I rushed to my room and started doing Mrs.Brown's homework because it was due Monday. After I finished it I left and watched football. I knew that I would have to finish the other part at school.
